Should finish that headboard…
Happy new Chinese pig year everyone…
Done using an extremely small screenshot as a ref–female practice. We’re a lot harder to draw than guys. Speed sketching too–this didn’t take me more than 45 minutes, which is fast for someone as lazy as me. Practice!

Funny thing about me is, I usually end up liking what I hate at first. Like Blink 182. Or Kevin Alexander’s This Writer’s Life column in Writer’s digest. The same thing happened with Applegeeks, but not with Megatokyo.
I know you’re probably pissed now. You love Hawk and Ananth’s little dork photoshop webcomic about a dork…who likes photoshop. You know what? Macs SUCK! How can you live without right click? Your Ipod advertising has subliminally invaded my subconscious. But Applegeeks has gotten interesting lately. Oh, the story can suck a golf ball through fifty feet of garden hose any day. But the art is well-rendered and inspiring, which is the standard for webcomics these days (I’ve barely started and I’m being phased out). But most of all, I stay for Applegeeks Lite, the tiny sidebar strip in black-and white gag-comic format that has, in all respect, a better storyline than the main comic. It makes fun of the computerized culture we live in.

For those of you who have not yet enjoyed the epic story of a boy tortured by disturbing, yet philosophical nightmares, check it out here! Page 13 is already storyboarded, which is actually progress to me. Please note that pages 2 and 3 will be redone as I did them when I was like 12. But I’m glad the folks at PK BBS convinced me to go back to it.
